As a skincare founder who’s obsessed with skin science and simplicity, this one means a lot. When we launched Lana Banana Skincare, our goal was to create clean, premium skincare in Australia that truly worked: no fluff, no harsh actives, just smart formulas that love your skin back. Seeing our cleanser recognised for exactly that feels huge.

So, what makes it award-winning?

This isn’t your average foaming gel. We created a barrier repair cleanser for sensitive skin, gentle enough for daily use yet effective enough to genuinely smooth your skin’s texture over time.

At its core is Lactic Acid, a naturally occurring AHA that dissolves dull, dead skin cells while simultaneously hydrating and smoothing. Unlike harsh exfoliants, lactic acid strengthens your skin barrier instead of stripping it, which makes it perfect for anyone looking to repair their damaged skin barrier naturally.

How to use it

Massage 2–3 pea-sized drops into damp skin, lather, and rinse well. It’s the perfect PM cleanse, especially if you love double cleansing for young skin or need a gentle reset after sunscreen and makeup. Follow up with our Night Serum and lock all that hard working product in with the Light Moisturiser.
